COLEXO berät den Verkauf von 6 Pflegeheimen
We deliberately self-financed our first phase as a company to invest our time and energy in product and design development as well as market and customer interviews.
From this conviction, we simultaneously did what we do best: helping entrepreneurs in complex and challenging situations.
One of our mandates in 2023 was the divestment process in the context of an insolvency situation of the nursing home group MEDEM Real Care GmbH.
A currently very beleaguered and difficult industry. In a complex and lengthy process, we were able to sell 6 out of 6 facilities to a total of 6 different buyers. This way, approximately 250 people in need of care were able to preserve their home from imminent closure, and about 300 employees were given a future perspective.
In the process, one thing became clear to us:
Especially in "distressed" situations, valid and quickly available information is crucial.
On the one hand, this helps the insolvency administrator to efficiently and as quickly as possible get an overview of the economic situation. On the other hand, it allows potential investors to make cost-efficient and timely good investment decisions.
A good team has always been and will always be essential for the success of transactions.
In this transaction, we had the pleasure of working excellently with Christoph Glatt, his team from Schiebe and Collegen, and the insolvency law specialist Salvatore Calcagno from Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. A heartfelt thank you at this point.
In the future, we will support our clients even more digitally and efficiently with COLEXO, especially in challenging, time-critical, and cost-sensitive situations.
